2023 年度音樂推薦

要說年度回顧有什麼事令人彆扭，大概就是：你總覺得還沒過完一整年就回顧是否太急躁，但要真的到了下一年大家就頭也不回往前走了。

所以我們乾脆來玩個遊戲吧，姑且先忘記這是一份年度回顧。

任何人都免不了以貌取人，這個「貌」可能是某項外表特徵、行為，引起你的好奇、想像、欲望、憎惡。當你受到某種「貌」吸引而進一步認識這個人，與之深交，有時會發現他表裡如一，有時卻會窺見截然不同的性情。

不用說，音樂的「貌」當然就是封面。在還沒有音樂下載和串流的年代，試聽不總是那麼方便。偶爾幾次，我會在唱片行光憑封面就決定買下一張專輯。這有點像簽樂透，花個三四百塊買一次驚喜（或驚嚇）。

於我而言，實體唱片年代最好的事情是──你終究是花了錢買下一張專輯，而為了對得起付出去的錢，就算不特別喜歡裡頭的音樂，或主打歌以外的曲目沒那麼朗朗上口，都還是會勉力聽一兩回試試。而正因為你試了，初見時陌生詭譎的路走個幾遍也就熟門熟路了。尤其年輕時聽的音樂不多，任何專輯都像是一處未曾體驗過的秘境，好奇的時候遠多於批判的時候。

以下，我列出 134 張自己喜歡的 2023 年專輯。它們大多是 R&B、靈魂樂、爵士，也有一些電子音樂和少許的流行、K-Pop、拉丁、搖滾、嘻哈、非洲音樂。這是我每週從 Apple Music、Pitchfork、NPR、Every Noise at Once（RIP）、First Floor 等各種來源蒐集篩選後留下的名單。

遊戲規則是這樣：

1. 你不用看完這份名單，因為又臭又長，還一堆冷門音樂。
2. 從這堆封面中挑出喜歡的一張。（也就是想像自己走進一間唱片行，在沒得試聽的狀況下，僅憑封面決定要帶誰回家。當然，你不見得真的要花錢買下。）
3. 封面下方都有專輯名稱和試聽連結。至少從頭到尾聽個一回。如果覺得有點意思，再多聽一兩回。（就當作是你錢花下去，不得不聽了。）
4. 寫下你的想法。可以是兩個字「好聽」、「難聽」，也可以是五六百字甚至更長的心得。這不是作文考試啦，放心。你可以寫在我們的 Discord 社群、你的 Instagram 或 Threads 或任何你覺得自在的地方。

這個遊戲沒有什麼實質理由，只為幫你重溫（或初嘗）一種完全出自好奇和探險的心情、並為了付出的沉沒成本（？）而聽見理性決策和同溫層效應下不大有機會聽見的聲音。
